Fraud Notify is a free, automated alert service provided through the Delta County Clerk & Recorder’s Office. It sends you an email notification anytime a document is recorded in Delta County using your registered name.
Visit the Delta County website and select “Fraud Notify Registration.” Enter your name (last name first), provide a valid email address, and confirm your registration through the email link you receive.
Carefully review the recorded document details. If you believe the filing is fraudulent, contact the Delta County Clerk & Recorder’s Office at 970-874-2150 and notify local law enforcement (Delta Police Department or the Delta County Sheriff’s Office).
Yes. You may register multiple name variations (for example: Jane Doe, Jane A. Doe, J. Doe) under one email address. This is helpful if you own property under different formats or business names.
Unemployment or FAMLI Fraud: Report through the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE).
Business Identity Theft: Report to the Colorado Secretary of State.
General Fraud: Contact local law enforcement or the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
