Information and links to maps and daily updates is available below for active wildfires burning in and near Delta County. Delta County Emergency Management will work to update information as quickly as possible as it is provided by the responsible jurisdiction. Please use the links and resources on this page for assistance related to wildfires.

Wildfire Donation Information:

Important - While we appreciate the outreach of support from the Delta County Community to support firefighters and first responders, donations of food, and drinks are not needed and prepared dishes cannot be accepted due to the risk of food borne illness. The federal firefighters with the U.S. Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management are well supplied and have specialized logistics units to provide meals and drinks for the fire crews around the clock.

Donations:

The best way to donate to support wildfire response efforts in Western Colorado is to donate funds directly to the local fire protection districts and the American Red Cross. Below is contact information for the Western Colorado Chapter of American Red Cross and the Delta County Fire Protection Districts.
Please note - none of the fire stations in Delta County are manned and phones go to voicemail. Please leave a message and the Fire District will call you back!
