Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners

The County Clerk and Recorder serves statutorily as the Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners. Functions of the Clerk to the Board are set by the Colorado Constitution Article XIV, Section 8 and Colorado Revised Statues §30-10-402 C.R.S. 

The Clerk to the Board attends records and maintains the official records of the Board of County Commissioners public meetings. The Clerk houses many historical records of the County including the official minutes proceedings, resolutions, ordinances and special district service plans.

The Clerk to the Board’s responsibilities also include processing liquor licensing applications and renewals in all of unincorporated Delta County.

The Clerk also serves as the Clerk to the Board of Equalization (BOE), coordinating and recording all BOE/Abatement Hearings pursuant to State Statutes and Regulations for the protection of property rights.

Non-certified copies of minutes or County documents are available at $ .25 per page. Certification of documents is an additional fee of $1.00. Please note that individual pages cannot be certified; only entire documents shall be certified. CD audio proceedings of the Board of County Commissioner meetings may be purchased for $5.00 per meeting.
